The purpose of this course is to offer you a practical way of learning Excel! My genuine goal is to show you how I used excel while working for a furniture company. On the lectures I would not only show you on details how to build some different excel projects but also I would do my best to explain step by step how to build them and the logic behind them! Hopefully, you can utilize all the knowledge from this course and implement it into your work environment!
Curriculum:
Section 1 – Pivot Table – Sales Report: On this section, I will show you how to use Pivot Tables to filter large amount of data and build sales report for a company sales representative.
Section 2 – VlookUp – Price List: On section two I will teach you how to utilize a very useful function called “VlookUp.” In our project, we will use this function to build a Price List document for our company. The fascinating part is that we would build a 45 product list only in a few minutes!!
Section 3 – VBA Developer Tool – Fabric Inventory: On this section, I will navigate the developer tool excel offers (Visual Basic for Application). Together we would build a create a simple inventory program application that will allow us to add, update, and remove fabric from our inventory with the click of a button! If you do not have knowledge about programming do not panic! We would write the script together and I will explain it to you line by line! 😉
Moreover, I did my best to focus on designing a simple course that is easy to follow and understand so every student can enjoy of a nice learning experience. This course is not mean to be a one-way communication but a two-way communication. This means, I do not expect you to watch the lectures and stay quiet, I encourage you to communicate with me when you have questions or doubts!!
Finally, I do not proclaim myself to be an Excel expert, but I am simple a person who has fascination for this program and is hoping to help other appreciate the beauty of it! 🙂
