Economic Development and Artificial Intelligence education( practical guide )

The focus of US artificial intelligence strategy and policy is to maintain the global “leading” position, and it is hoped that the development of artificial intelligence will always be proactive and foreseeable. As early as the Obama administration, the United States began to release a number of artificial intelligence plans in 2013, the first to mention the application and vision of artificial intelligence in the fields of smart cities, autonomous driving, and education. In 2016, the United States raised artificial intelligence to a national strategic level and issued the National Artificial Intelligence Research and Development Plan, which provided certain support and
guarantees in terms of policy, technology, and funding. After the Trump administration took office, it issued Presidential Executive Order No. 13859 in February 2019-“The Initiative to Maintain the Leadership of the United States in the Field of Artificial Intelligence”, which proposed the guiding principles for the future development of artificial intelligence in the United States from the national strategic level. It is pointed out that it is necessary to concentrate the resources of the federal government to develop artificial intelligence, expand the prosperity of the United States, enhance national and economic security, and strive to maintain the global leadership in the artificial intelligence era. The presidential executive decree also requires relevant departments to implement various policies and measures in accordance with their duties within the prescribed time limit. The White House launched the official artificial intelligence website “AI.gov” to publish a series of artificial intelligence initiatives and progress made by various federal agencies in the United States.
